Terry Quy studied English and Fine Art at the University of Exeter and has always been interested in creative writing. She has previously had poetry published and her short novel, Turning Back, went to print in 2010.

Attractive, academically gifted daughter of a working class, West Yorkshire family in wartime 1940's, Miriam Sanderson leaves the mill town of her birth to make her future elsewhere.
